Thank you to all who supported our Violence Preven Thank you to all who supported our Violence Prevention team’s annual turkey give away last week! We reached a new record with 400 turkeys distributed in Uptown and Rogers Park, which means 400 families having a better Thanksgiving this year thanks to the love and support of our community! Shout out to @46thwardchi for her help in Uptown, and to folks who supported with donations or turkeys, including Senator Laura Fine, District Council Member Jenny Schaffer, Care for Real, and many generous individual donors!

Our Violence Prevention team’s annual toy drive is Our Violence Prevention team’s annual toy drive is back! You can make the holidays brighter for families in our communities, by picking up extra toys and gifts while our shopping, and dropping them by our office during our wrapping party on Saturday, December 13, 11am-1pm! You can also ship directly to our volunteer toy drive coordinator (email LBDFA@hotmail.com for address) or bring gifts to our annual holiday party on December 11! Thanks for your generosity!
