Join us for our next Housing Justice Mass Meeting! We will meet at the ICA Building, 4750 N Sheridan Rd, 6pm-7:30pm. We will be discussing updates on our recent campaigns and new campaigns coming up for the summer and fall. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a longtime member of the team or brand new and looking for ways to get involved!

| Members of our organizing team were invited to the unveiling of the Haven, an innovative 37-room affordable development in the former Diplomat Hotel. The property will have services for residents provided by ONE Northside institutional member Cornerstone Community Outreach. We’re so excited to see this project come to life, and thrilled for the possibilities it presents for how affordable housing can be integrated into our communities! |
| Online Affordable Housing Portal Moves to City Council Vote |
| A longstanding campaign of our team passed a major hurdle and is looking poised for a breakthrough! We have worked for years on the Accountable Housing and Anti-Discrimination (AHAD) Ordinance, or as it was previously known, the Waitlist Transparency Ordinance. Now there will be a centralized affordable housing website connecting tenants with providers across the city, making waiting times clear, and helping people get into homes faster and easier. |
