| We are at a pivotal moment in history – this month take action with us to get organized, get ready, and start fighting back! |
We are facing serious threats to our democracy and our very way of life as a country, and time is running out. There is hope though. We have to take action right now, and all of us have a part to play. The billionaires and big tech behind the takeover of our government have a playbook, but we also have a playbook to stop them. Voting is not enough. Coming to meetings is not enough. We need MILLIONS of people to take action. How do we get there? Join us for practical trainings this month on how we get to where we need to be and the role that you can play.
At this month’s Membership Council on March 5, we gathered to talk about these threats and members voted to approve our “People Over Billionaires Spring Blitz” training agenda. If you missed it, find the list of upcoming trainings and meetings at the form below!

Tell HUD: Keep Families Together and Housed!
In another desperate bid to blame immigrants for their own policy failures, Trump and HUD are trying to kick “mixed status” immigrant families out of public and subsidized housing.
HUD is now proposing a rule that would change decades of policy designed to KEEP FAMILIES TOGETHER AND HOUSED by evicting undocumented household members, even though they pay full rent. It will rip families apart and push them toward eviction and homelessness.
It’s cruel, costly, and counterproductive—kicking 37,000 citizen children to the curb during a housing crisis and wasting millions on red tape instead of keeping people housed.
Add your voice: urge HUD Secretary Scott Turner to withdraw the rule by submitting a comment today.

April Showers Bring May POWER! Online TrainingThursday, March 19, 4:30pm-6:00pm
via Zoom
The people united will never be defeated! In alignment with partners all across the city (and country!), ONE Northside is launching our own spring blitz to stop Trump’s authoritarian consolidation of power. We’re going both on the defense (through rapid response) and offense. We can change the tide — what role do you want to play in making that happen? Be in community with others who want to make the same commitment. In this training, we’ll orient people around authoritarianism, noncooperation, rapid response, May Day, and our ongoing campaign to fund our communities by taxing the rich. We’ll also practice some skills, like how to talk to the people in your life about all this and how you want them involved. Because we need everyone in our movement.
