We were especially proud to honor this year’s Leadership Award winners, Nellie Moreno and Ms. Adele Sims. Nellie embodies the Rev. Barb Bolsen Values in Action Award through her leadership with love in the Parent Mentor program. And Ms. Adele, a longtime leader within ONE Northside, has served in nearly every role over the years. Like Carlos Cardenas, the namesake of the Courageous Leadership Award, she represents an unwavering commitment to building a truly powerful people’s organization.
